REQUEST A SAMPLE EDIT
Experience the difference firsthand
Handing your research over to an editor requires an immense amount of trust. Your thesis, journal article or institutional report represents months – sometimes years – of grueling work.
It is completely natural to want to make sure your editor understands your discipline, respects your perspective, and is the right fit for your writing style before you make a financial commitment.
That is why I offer a free sample edit of up to 500 words for major projects.
There is no obligation to book, no hidden catch and no automated software involved. I will personally review your excerpt, apply my specialised knowledge of social science terminology, and return it to you with clear, transparent edits. You will see exactly how I work and can decide if we are a good match.

What is included in your free sample?
Your sample edit is treated with the exact same professional care as a full, paid project. When I return your text, you will receive:
A Tracked Changes document:
A Microsoft Word file showing every tiny correction to your grammar, punctuation, and typos so you have complete visibility over what has changed.
Marginal feedback comments:
Helpful notes in the sidebar explaining the reasoning behind any structural phrasing changes or syntax improvements.
An honest assessment:
A brief overview of whether your draft simply needs a final typographical proofread or a deeper, structural copyedit to help you choose the right service level.
